Highly enjoyable read Tom, one of my favourites for a while. Made me want to actually look at your New York photos you've had pinned to the top of your Insta for ages, though of course now I want to look they've been replaced by something else pinned to the top 😆
Anything and everything New York is fascinating - on music the stories around the roots of electro and hip hop are fascinating - 80 Blocks From Tiffany’s is worth a watch on YouTube and also the Flyin’ Cut Sleeves documentary
Love NYC too, first time I went I couldn't believe I was actually there. This will now age me as it was exactly like Hill Street Blues. I was also lucky enough to see a Spike Lee film while I was there it just added to the occasion. Keep up the good work.
Great read Tom, still a city that’s evaded me so far and is on my bucket list of places to visit.
Thanks Lee! You’ll love it! Plenty of vintage too

Thanks Dave! Haha! They’re all still available on the top of my profile where there’s the Statue Of Liberty emoji 🗽
Once again I show my incompetence with technology 😆. I liked the Polaroids, very cool. 😎

Thanks Phillip 🙏🏼 great recommendations!
The Ghetto Brothers, one of the gangs featured recorded a great album (sort of mix of Latin and Beatles to my ear), https://open.spotify.com/track/1RivvraWx6MG5KQpKx9vMP?si=yV7MBOLTQxKqg875kDEYYg, then spawned the likes of Afrika Bambaataa
