Great read as always Tom. Nice to hear about your interest in James Bond's style, especially Connery which is when Bond had that peak mid century modern thing going on- Dr No especially. A Bond special Easy on the Ivy would be great!
My pleasure, Tom. For me there are some problems with Bond and Connery in particular, but it's undeniable that the aesthetics are hugely influential and link to so many other things.
Still toying with getting the Fred Perry polo Connery wears in Thunderball...
I actually discovered a few things and interesting items (I'm a sucker for some interesting packaging on coffee, plus I also love the stuff) The S&W watch is also great - bookmarked that one for a rainy day.
Been a silent observer for a while and really enjoy your musings!
Okay, I have a few for you. A five star composition notebook for work related things to do lists and meetings notes, 3”x5” mini notebook for personal life to do lists, a Zebra 301A pen, SRPE 93 Seiko Dive Watch on a NATO band and Apple AirPods. For the weekends, I have an alpaka sling, which my lovely wife, refers to as the murse.
Good stuff. Specs wise - I’m a big fan of Cubitts. They’re not the cheapest but they’re well made and durable.
Thanks Scott 🙏🏼

Thanks Dave! That’s not a bad idea, definitely something I’d like to write about one day for the blog 👍🏻 glad you enjoyed reading

Loved this Tom, thank you.

Thanks Alex, that’s very kind. Appreciate the support!
Glad you found a few things too. I’m exactly the same with coffee, especially if it has good packaging 👊🏻

Nice one Paul. An essential list for sure. I’d forgotten about Air Pods.. good choices.
Another great read today with your article, but what item if you leave the house without you miss the most?
Thanks James! Glad you enjoyed it. It would be my glasses. There would be a lot of damage to Manchester’s lamp posts if I didn’t wear them.
Joking aside.. probably my tote. As much as I moan about carrying it, I only moan more when I have to fill my pockets. I’m a complex man.
